You surely have a friend or parent who's crazy about a specific recipe. For example, a friend of mine came to my house and I served paella de mariscos. Then, she wanted to get the recipe; which I gave her. Sadly, she didn't now where to find all needed ingredients as I get mine directly from Spain where I have some family.

This gave me an idea: give her a recipe gift basket for Christmas. I created a nice looking recipe page on the computer, plastified it and found an nice iron basket which I got from someone. I filled the basket with all needed ingredients and decorated with a nice bow and finished with the recipe. Then I gave this basket to my friend. She was really happy as not only she got the recipe but all ingredients - even those she didn't find here.

Obviously, you're not obliged to get your recipient fresh ingredients - particularly those that don't support one hour outside the fridge - and you can fill the basket with cans or dried food.
